Following the announcement of the new Beelink SER9, AOOSTAR announced the GEM10 370. Both of these compact computers feature the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, the current top-of-the-line CPU from the new series. Now, Minisforum has joined the Strix Point mini PC race by teasing the EliteMini AI370.
Just like the two newly announced mini PCs from AOOSTAR and Beelink, the EliteMini AI370 packs the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, which packs the RDNA 3.5 Radeon 890M. But that’s pretty much all that Minisforum has shared about the new mini PC.
The shared teaser image does show a silhouette of the new Strix Point mini PC, and from that, it seems that the EliteMini AI370 will feature a standard square-shaped form factor. As a matter of fact, the design appears quite similar to the EliteMini UM780 XTX (available on Amazon), but the newer model may be a bit more compact.
Given that Beelink allows the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 to run at 65W TDP in its new SER9, we could see Minisforum offering the same or a higher TDP setting with the EliteMini AI370. The EliteMini UM780 XTX also came with an OCuLink, which is expected to be featured in the upcoming mini PC.
Other expected features included a capable cooling setup, a decent selection of ports, and competitive pricing. Speaking of the price, none of the manufacturers have yet revealed how much their new Strix Point mini PCs will cost, and the pricing details for the EliteMini AI370 is also under wraps.
