DJI Mavic 4: New high-end drone from DJI and RC Plus 2 remote controller spotted in new leaks
DJI has released quite a few devices this year, including a new action camera called the Osmo Action 5 Pro (curr. $349 on Amazon). Additionally, it has has updated its consumer drone product line with the Air 3S and Neo. However, the Mavic 3 series remains the company's flagship drone offering over three years after its debut.
Various sightings of possible successors have surfaced online through high-profile leakers in recent months though. In summary, the Mavic 4 was spotted alongside the Mavic 3 Pro. Based on that leak, it seemed as though the Mavic 4 series would feature a ball-shaped camera housing in a departure from the current Mavic 3 series.
Conversely, new footage showing what @OsitaLV, @JasperEllens and @Quadro_News all believe is a crashed Mavic 4 Enterprise suggests otherwise. Embedded below, the shots show a squarer look to the drone's camera housing, which protects three lenses. Unfortunately, no other details about these cameras can be gleaned, although an array of top and bottom-mounted sensors can be seen.
Incidentally, it looks as though the next-generation drone has particularly strong arms, which would typically deform in a crash. Meanwhile, @Quadro_News has shared the first image of a new RC Plus controller called the RC Plus 2. In short, a few design differences exist between the pair, even if the latter appears to carry across the former's overall layout. Presumably, the RC Plus 2 will debut alongside the Mavic 4 or Mavic 4 Enterprise, which could well feature larger batteries than their predecessors too. As it stands, it seems likely that DJI will wait until early 2025 before introducing either drone and any accompanying accessories.

Hello #Mavic4 #Enterprise. We can't see a name on the arm but this obviously is another crashed test subject. Good to see the very thin arms survived. A crash this time. What can we conclude from this camera setup? Cheers pic.twitter.com/RvaTgKfHfJ
