DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro: Leaker confirms EU pricing and 64GB internal storage for upcoming GoPro Hero 13 Black rival
DJI's Osmo Action 5 Pro has surfaced in yet another leak, this time confirming its pricing and final specifications. Positioned as a competitor to the newly launched GoPro Hero 13 Black and freshly leaked Insta360 Ace Pro 2, the "Adventure Combo" will reportedly retail for €479 in Europe (approx. $528), as per a tweet from Jasper Ellens. This price aligns with earlier rumors, and the leak suggests it is part of the "Adventure Combo" kit, which includes three 1,950 mAh batteries (refer to previous leaks for the full kit details).
The Osmo Action 5 Pro is confirmed to feature a 40 MP camera, supporting a "Night Mode" for low-light shooting, along with the super slow-motion feature elaborated in previous leaks. Internal storage has also been upgraded to 64 GB. This should ensure ample space for recording without an immediate need for external storage, which is a pretty important update considering its predecessor, the Osmo Action 4 (currently $269 on Amazon for the Standard Combo), relied entirely on an external microSD card for storing photos and videos. The f/2.8 lens and 155° field of view remain consistent with earlier information.
This latest leak confirms previous reports of the Action 5 Pro maintaining its rugged build. It will also support up to 4K video at 120 fps with cropping. With this confirmed information, the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro is shaping up to be a solid contender in the action camera market. Official announcements are expected very soon.
Ok sure, I'll chip in on the leaks. Here you see the confirmed price of 479 euro for the #action5pro in a European webshop. Sales pitch: 40 Megapixel camera. Nightmode, super SloMo. 64 gb internal storage. Three times 1950 mAh batteries in the adventure combo. Cheers pic.twitter.com/QOYQMqrcK9
