The volume of DJI Osmo-related leaks has hotted up again after a period of relative calm. Just yesterday, Igor Bogdanov delivered a short video of the Osmo 360 undergoing public testing. Shortly afterwards, Jasper Ellens revealed the release date for not just the Osmo 360 but also the Osmo Nano and the Mic 3. On top of that, Ellens offered some insights into the whereabouts of the Osmo Action 6, too.
Not be outdone, Bogdanov has returned with a first look at the Osmo Nano roughly six weeks before its anticipated release. Until now, only the outline of the Osmo Nano had been shown, thanks to a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) listing. From the image that Bogdanov has provided, it seems that we were previously looking at the Osmo Nano from the bottom.
Ultimately, the Osmo Nano looks larger than the Action 2 (curr. $219 on Amazon), which is believed to be the Nano's spiritual predecessor. From May's FCC listing, it appears that the Osmo Nano will communicate with a display model that the regulatory body referred to by its OD001 model number. At this stage, it is unclear how the two will attach, though. Nonetheless, DJI is expected to release the Osmo Nano on July 23 between the Osmo 360 and Mic 3 during the same month.
