Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Plus now available in more countries

Xiaomi is rolling out its Electric Scooter 5 Plus across Europe. This model was released in the UK in late August 2025, joining three existing versions: the Electric Scooter 5, the Electric Scooter 5 Pro and the Electric Scooter 5 Max (curr. €579.99 at Mi Store DE).

You can now buy the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Plus in France and Italy for €549.99. For context, that makes it €140 more expensive than the Electric Scooter 5 and €40 more expensive than the Electric Scooter 5 Pro. However, it is €60 cheaper than the range-topping Electric Scooter 5 Max. In France, customers are offered 10% or €55 off the RRP, meaning you can currently pick up the Electric Scooter 5 Plus for €494.99.

The Electric Scooter 5 Plus is powered by a 400W rated power (900W peak power) motor with a top speed of 25 kph (~16 mph) and the ability to handle inclines up to 20%. Users can choose between three modes: Pedestrian (6 kph/4 mph), Standard (15 kph/9 mph) and Sport (25 kph/16 mph). Its accompanying 477.4 Wh (10.2 Ah) battery allows you to ride for up to 60 km (~37 miles) on a single charge. Plus, it has 12-inch tubeless tires that can handle various terrains, and a front shock absorber provides additional comfort.

Compared to other models in the range, the Electric Scooter 5 Plus has taller handlebars and a wider deck, said to enhance ride comfort. Other features include a traction control system (TCS), a dual braking system, smart headlights and brake lights, and Bluetooth connectivity for app-based management. The e-scooter can fold to make it easier to store or transport, and it weighs 26.6 kg (~58.6 lbs). It is unclear when the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Plus will arrive in other European countries like the Netherlands, Spain and Germany.
