The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Plus is now available in the UK. It was spotted in the databases of regulatory authorities and was then officially revealed on the brand’s global website at the end of July 2025.
Now, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Plus is available at the company’s online store in the UK. It retails for £459.99, making it £10 more expensive than the Electric Scooter 5 Pro, and £40 cheaper than the Electric Scooter 5 Max.
Xiaomi’s Electric Scooter 5 Plus has larger 12-inch tires, compared to the 10-inch versions on older models, which is said to make it suitable for more varied surfaces. It features dual-spring shock absorption at the front, and a taller handlebar and larger deck are also said to enhance ride comfort. Like the other models in the series, the 477 Wh battery should provide up to 60 km (~37 miles) range. While its motor has 400W rated power like the Pro and Max, for up to 25 kph (~16 mph) speeds, the maximum power is capped at 900W rather than 1,000W. Plus, this model can only handle inclines up to 20% rather than 22%.
Other features include a traction control system, integrated lights at the front and rear, and a display showing your speed and the remaining battery level. Plus, you can remotely manage the e-scooter’s settings and view your journey history in the Xiaomi Home app. This foldable model is also slightly heavier, weighing 26.6 kg (~58.6 lbs). It remains to be seen when the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Plus will be released in other European countries, like Germany.
