Navee has unveiled a new product, the SP01. The company is already known for its e-scooter models like the S60 and the N65. It is marketing the SP01 as a speed pedelec or an e-bike, though it is a relatively powerful bike.
The SP01 is powered by a 1,000 W mid-mounted motor with up to 160 Nm torque. This means it can deliver speeds of up to 45 kph (~28 mph). As such, there are limitations in many European countries, like the UK, where it would be legally classed as a moped. The name of the motor’s manufacturer has not been announced. The motor is accompanied by a detachable 1,440 Wh battery, said to provide up to 260 km (~162 miles) of assistance range, fully recharging in around four hours.
Navee’s SP01 A Suntour mobie34 suspension fork helps to make your ride more comfortable, and the Schwalbe Super Moto-X tires offer 3 mm puncture protection. Other features include an 11-speed Shimano Deore XT Linkglide transmission, a Shimano RD-M8130-SGS derailleur and Magura MT5E hydraulic disc brakes.
Also advertised by Navee are a TFT display and a collision radar warning system, though further details are not provided. Plus, the bike is fitted with accessories like a Spanninga Axendo headlight. It has a 6061 aluminum alloy, with the bike weighing around 35 kg (~77.2 lbs). It is unclear when the Navee SP01 speedbike will be released and how much it will cost.
