Specialized launches new premium full suspension e-bike with 840 Wh battery

Last month, Specialized unveiled the Vado 3 X full-suspension commuter e-bike. Now, the brand has unveiled the all-new electric mountain bike, the Levo 4 X, globally. The company’s new e-MTB is built on Specialized’s full-suspension electric mountain bike platform, featuring the Levo 4 11m carbon frame. Plus, it has adjustable geometry and integrated cargo racks mounted front and rear, which are rated to handle 22 kg (48.5 lbs) of load.
Speaking of weight, the full-suspension e-bike weighs 27.2 kg (60 lbs), which is quite hefty for a mountain bike. At the heart of the Levo 4 X is the specialized high-performance S-Works 3.1 mid-drive motor, and according to the company, the motor delivers an impressive 111 Nm of torque and up to 850 W of peak power.
On top of these features, it boasts a massive 840 Wh battery, with Specialized claiming up to 4.4 hours of riding time on a single charge. Though, the ride times completely depend on terrain and assistance levels. Furthermore, the Levo 4 X features a 160 mm FOX 38 Factory fork up front and a 150 mm FOX Float X Factory rear shock with Specialized’s GENIE shock technology. The carbon frame is complemented by SRAM XX Eagle T-Type AXS wireless shifting and SRAM Maven Ultimate four-piston brakes with oversized 220 mm front and 220 mm rear rotors.
Other features include a 2.2-inch display, companion app support, Apple Find My compatibility, and a 12-amp smart charger with multiple charging modes, such as fast charging and an 80% battery preservation option.
Available in a single fiery red colorway, the Specialized Levo 4 X is priced at $11,999.99. Interested buyers can now purchase the e-MTB directly from Specialized’s official website.
