Ride1Up launches world’s first e-bike with semi solid state battery

Ride1Up has launched its latest electric bike, the Revv1 Evo, in the global market. Advertised as the world’s first electric bicycle with a semi-solid-state battery, the Revv1 Evo. The new 52 C 20 Ah (1 kWh) battery is said to have a 10-year lifespan. On top of this, it’s rated for over 1,200 charge cycles before dropping to 80% capacity. The company claims the Evo retains around 70% capacity even at -20 °C (-4 °F).
The Ride1Up Revv1 Evo is powered by a 750 W Bafang hub motor, delivering 100 nm of torque and a top speed of 28 mph (45 km/h). Speaking of range, Ride1Up claims the new semi-solid-state battery offers up to 60 miles (96.5 km) of range on a sigle charge and it takes around 2 hours for a full charge.
You get a step-over design with a high-capacity frame rated for up to 400 lb (181 kg). The e-bike has fat 20 x 4-inch tires complemented by 4-piston hydraulic brakes, integrated lighting, and 160 mm and 90 mm front and rear suspension. Weighing around 90 lbs (40.8 kg), the Revv1 Evo isn’t your normal lightweight city e-bike.
The rest of the features include 1000-lux moto-style front lights, integrated brake lights with turn signals, MTB-style pedals, a 120L BMX-style chain, a controller, and an HD color display that showcases essential info such as speed, range, battery levels, and more.
The Ride1Up Revv1 Evo electric bike is priced at $2,395, with shipping expected to begin in August 2026. Interested buyers can now pre-order the e-bike directly from Ride1Up’s official website.
