The Amflow TL Carbon is the latest electric mountain bike from Amflow, featuring DJI’s powerful Avinox M2 mid-drive motor. The full-suspension eMTB features a carbon frame, 27.5 x 2.35” Maxxis tires, hydraulic disc brakes, and a 2-inch OLED touchscreen display.

Amflow has expanded its electric mountain bike portfolio by launching the new Amflow TL Carbon eMTB in the global market. The TL Carbon joins the Amflow PX, the PR, and the PL in the brand’s roster. The company’s new e-bike is advertised as an SUV e-bike, which is built for mountain biking, cargo hauling, long-distance touring, and commuting.

Under the hood, the full-suspension e-bike is powered by the DJI Avinox M2 mid-drive motor, delivering 125 Nm of torque and 1,100 W of peak output. The powerful motor is paired with a massive 800 Wh removable battery. Plus, riders can also expand the range of the e-bike thanks to a new 480 Wh battery extender. The TL Carbon is the company’s first e-bike that features Avinox SmoothShift electronic shifting, a system co-developed with TRP.

This electronic shifting is said to automatically reduce motor torque during gear changes for smoother shifts and reduced drivetrain wear. It has a carbon fiber frame, which weighs just 2.9 kg (6.4 lb). Despite boasting fenders, integrated lighting, and rear rack accessories, the e-bike weighs around 22.6 kg (49.8 lb). You get suspensions co-developed with FOX, including 120 mm of front travel and 105 mm of rear travel.

Furthermore, the e-bike can be configured with multiple wheel sizes, including 27.5-inch, 29-inch, mullet, and reverse mullet setups. The company claims that the TL carbon can handle a maximum payload of 200 kg (441 lb), with the rear rack capable of carrying 27 kg (59 lb) and the optional front rack supporting up to 20 kg (44 lb). There’s also Avinox Ride companion app support, which further adds several features such as heart rate-based assist control, Apple Find My support, offline navigation, and connectivity with DJI’s Osmo Action cameras.

As for price, there is no information on its price at the time of writing. What we know is that the Amflow TL Carbon e-bike will be available globally later this year. However, the company hasn’t revealed the exact timeline. You can learn more about it via Amflow’s official website.
