Nothing Phone 4a stars in new official design reveal ahead of imminent launch

Nothing is gearing up to launch a new mid-range phone series, the Phone 4a lineup. It's expected to initially introduce two phones, and the non-Pro smartphone has just starred in an official design reveal teaser.
The company recently teased that it would be bringing some changes to its signature Glyph Bar, and the Nothing Phone 4a seems to be the first to implement these changes. While the back doesn't look much different than the predecessor at first, the new smartphone doesn't have the three LED strips.
Instead, there's the redesigned Glyph Bar near the right edge of the back, and as it seems, it has a total of seven square lights that are of different colors. Nothing claims that these lights are 40% brighter than the lights found in previous A-series phones, but the redesign should make the interface a bit less distracting than the last implementation.
Of course, there are other subtle changes on the back other than the new Glyph Bar. For example, the camera island has a frosted metallic look to it, but the additional Essential Key on the side is still there. This reveal has also confirmed that the back will retain a triple-camera setup.
As for the other aspects of the phone, Nothing has teased that both the Phone 4a and 4a Pro will be powered by Qualcomm SoCs. A recent Geekbench listing suggests that the former will pack the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, while the latter is expected to have the 7 Gen 4.
Recent reports have also suggested that the Phone 4a Pro will feature a 6.83-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, while the non-Pro phone will have a 6.78-inch screen. A 5,400mAh battery with 50W fast charging could power the regular 4a smartphone (100W Anker Prime charger curr. $59.99 on Amazon). Upcoming teasers are expected to confirm some of these rumored specs before the launch event.
