New Motorola Edge 70 Fusion official teasers reveal camera, battery, and display details

Motorola has confirmed that it will showcase the Edge 70 Fusion at MWC 2026. This event is set to start on March 2, but the brand has teased that India will get a February 28 reveal.
Speaking of which, on Flipkart, an Indian e-commerce retailer like Amazon, Motorola has put up a couple of teasers. These have revealed some of the core specs of the mid-range phone ahead of the full unveiling. One of the big highlights of the Edge 70 Fusion is that it will be among the first phones to feature the Sony LYT-710 camera.
It's a 50MP sensor with OIS that will be accompanied by two more cameras on the back. Technical details about the Sony LYT-710 aren't out yet, but Motorola promises that the camera can take "ultra-clear" low-light images and offer "brighter" highlights in videos.
One of the teasers further reveals that the front will feature a 32MP selfie camera. Another key detail that got confirmed is the display. It's a quad-curved "1.5K" screen with 144Hz refresh rate, 5,200 nits brightness rating, 96.2% screen-to-body ratio, and HDR10+ support.
The company has also shared the battery specs of the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion. It's a 7,000mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging. Thanks to it being a silicon-carbon battery, the company could keep the thickness of the phone low. To be specific, it's said to be only 7.99mm slim.
Other than that, Motorola has previously confirmed the back will feature a fabric finish, and the phone will be available in different Pantone colorways. A recent leak has also revealed that the Edge 70 Fusion will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, making it go against phones like the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus (available on Amazon) in some markets. More official details are expected to emerge before the February 28 unveiling.
