Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra appears in hands-on comparison pictures

Just four days before the official Galaxy Unpacked event, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is already being sold in some regions like Dubai, which is where tech YouTuber Sahil Karoul bought a white Galaxy S26 Ultra for the equivalent of roughly $3,300. It’s unknown how much storage this particular unit has, and preorder deals were apparently not part of the purchase.
Comparison with iPhone 17 Pro Max and Vivo X300 Pro
In these first pictures, the impatient buyer is holding the expensive white Samsung flagship up to the camera and, after the initial setup and transferring data from a Galaxy S25 Ultra (available on Amazon), immediately compares it with several other phones. These include the predecessor, Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro Max and the Vivo X300 Pro.
White Galaxy S26 Ultra has big camera bump
Somewhat surprising is just how thick the new camera bump looks, especially compared with the S25 Ultra, which already looks heavily damaged in these hands-on pictures. The camera module looks particularly bulky at the very top in the side view, which is surprising because the sensor hardware has reportedly changed very little from the previous model, while the optics are now noticeably faster.
It’s also noticeable that the shape of the periscope telephoto camera has apparently changed from rectangular to round. Sahil has now also uploaded an initial hands-on video that focuses on the likely most interesting new display feature of the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
