Best Buy announces better Galaxy S26 Ultra pre-order deals with free storage upgrade in the US

The next Galaxy Unpacked event is finally happening today, February 25. As usual, Samsung announced preorder promotions ahead of the launch. Unlike previous years, however, the company is only offering a free storage upgrade for Galaxy S26 Ultra preorders in Europe and parts of Asia, leaving out North America.

To recap, Samsung is offering a $30 Samsung credit in the US with Galaxy S26 preorders, plus up to $900 in trade-ins. Buyers are also automatically entered into a raffle to win $5,000 to use on Samsung.com. In markets like Malaysia, Germany, and the UK, Samsung also includes a free storage upgrade, giving buyers 512GB for the price of 256GB.

For US buyers looking to preorder the Galaxy S26 series, Best Buy is offering more attractive deals.

Double the storage offer and up to $1,100 trade-in

Best Buy has announced new Galaxy S26 preorder bonuses, valid through February 25, 2026, at 11:59 a.m. CT. Like Samsung, Best Buy includes a $30 coupon code with Galaxy S26 preorders, but trade-in values go up to $1,100, compared to Samsung's $900. On top of that, all Galaxy S26 preorders come with a free upgrade to larger internal storage.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has been confirmed to launch without built-in magnets, but it will offer more significant upgrades like faster 60W wired charging and a new Privacy Display screen. Check out the upcoming official Galaxy Unpacked livestream below.
