Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra stars in CPU and GPU hands-on benchmark tests ahead of official debut

As previously reported, Samsung's imminent Galaxy S26 Ultra has been thoroughly showcased in a hands-on review. The flagship phone is set to debut on Wednesday alongside the Galaxy S26 and S26+ and has now also been benchmarked for a closer look at its performance chops.
As shared by Sahil Karoul, the Galaxy S26 Ultra earns a single-core score of 3,648 on Geekbench 6, and a multi-core score of 10,898. Both of those numbers are firmly average relative to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 devices we've tested, and some would consider that to be disappointing. After all, the Galaxy S26 Ultra comes equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 variant featuring prime cores running at up to 4.74 GHz, versus the 4.61 GHz on the standard version of the chipset.
It's a different matter on AnTuTu, however. The Galaxy S26 Ultra delivers a CPU score of 1,094,797 there, which would make it the second most powerful device on AnTuTu's current performance chart, only beaten by the active-cooled RedMagic 11 Pro (1,193,279).
The flagship phone offers similarly polarizing results on GPU tests. On 3DMark's Wildlife Extreme stress test, it earns a peak loop score of 6,489—worse than most Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 devices we've tested. Its 1,447,696 GPU score on AnTuTu is impressive, however, and higher than any other Android device manages on the platform's performance chart.
