Matrox Luma Pro: Intel Arc A380-based GPU can support eight 5K displays

Matrox has revealed a new GPU with a whopping eight display outputs in Japan. However, the card is not intended for consumer use - rather, it is designed for professional and enterprise use, including but not limited to financial trading floors, control rooms, and more.
Dubbed the Luma Pro A380 Octal, it packs dual Intel Arc A380E GPU, which happens to be the embedded variant of the A380 with nearly identical specs. In other words, each of the cards still sport 6 GB of GDDR6 VRAM on a 96-bit bus and 8 cores based on Xe HPG microarch.
The single-slot card, as mentioned earlier, packs a total of eight video outputs, which is likely where it gets its "octal" moniker. Consisting solely of mini DisplayPort 2.0 ports (UHBR10), the Luma Pro can handle eight external screens at up to 5K resolution.
Moreover, two of these Luma Pro cards can also be fitted into a single system, allowing for a total of 16 displays. As pointed out by GDM, this allows for usage in control and monitoring systems, financial systems, and other large display walls in general.
A single fan cools the card, which may not sound like a lot, but should be enough considering the 130-watt power rating given by Matrox. The Luma Pro Octal is already available for purchase, although pricing details are unlikely to be revealed to consumers. Typical consumers are not likely to ever have such massive video output demands, and will definitely be better served by something like a Radeon 9070 XT consumer GPU (currently $800 on Amazon).
