Latest Nothing Phone (4a) specs leak sets the record straight, sharing processor, camera, and battery details

Leaks surrounding the Nothing Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro have been rampant recently. We have an idea of what to expect in terms of specifications and pricing, but some key details are still missing. The latest leak aims to fill some of those gaps and clear some confusion caused by previous leaks, particularly, the storage options and cameras for the Phone (4a).

The latest information comes from Android Headlines who claim to have more accurate details about the specifications. Previous leaks suggested that the Nothing Phone (4a) will not be offered in a 128 GB storage variant and only see a 256 GB model with 8 GB or 12 GB RAM. Android Headlines, on the other hand, states that there will in fact be a 128 GB variant. So, for now, it seems like the Phone (4a) will be offered in 8 GB + 128 GB and 12 GB + 256 GB configurations, possibly even an 8 GB + 256 GB model.

Coming to the cameras, the Nothing Phone (4a) was said to feature a triple 50 MP setup but it looks like there will instead be two 50 MP sensors for the main and the telephoto - 3.5x optical zoom, as well as an 8 MP ultrawide. At the front, a 32 MP selfie shooter is expected. As for the processor, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 which is not surprising given that these are budget phones. For reference, the Nothing Phone (3a) series features the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip. Besides these, the display is still expected to be a 6.7-inch 1.5K resolution with an up to 120 Hz refresh rate.

Lastly, the Nothing Phone (4a) will be backed by a 5,400 mAh battery with 50W wired charging and an IP65 certification.

For the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, the publication mentions that it will also have the same battery capacity, processor, and telephoto camera. How the phones will be set apart is the glyph system, pricing, and color options. Speaking of the glyph system, Nothing has been teasing what it would look like on the Nothing Phone (4a) series with an image of a condom and a some pills, and a leaker has shared what looks like a promotion for the upcoming phones that brings those two teasers together. Following the announcement on March 5, both the Nothing Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro are expected to be available for purchase starting mid-March.
