The Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro are just a few months from their first anniversary, so it is no surprise that a leak has surfaced revealing details of their successors. Expected to launch as the Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, the leak reveals details about the processor, colors, and price of the upcoming smartphones. It also includes details of a more affordable Nothing Headphone (1).
The Nothing Phone (4a) series will be powered by Qualcomm
According to the source, the Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon processors just like their predecessors. While not specifying the exact processors, the source says the two phones will use the “Snapdragon 7(s) series”.
There's no doubt that piece of information is a bit vague, however, considering the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 are the latest in the Snapdragon 7 series, there's a possibility it is either one or both of the chips. We also can't rule out the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 which are more powerful than the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 inside the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro.
With respect to RAM and storage configuration, the Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro are said to be available in a single variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which will be priced at roughly $475 and $540 respectively. The leaker also revealed that the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro will have eSIM support just like its predecessor.
When both phones debut, they will be available in Blue, White, Black, and for the first time ever, Pink. It is not clear if both phones will come in all four colors or certain colors will be exclusive to select models.
A cheaper Nothing Headphone (1)
In addition to the Phone (4a) series, the source also revealed that a new pair of headphones called the Nothing Headphone (a) will be announced. The headphones are described as the Headphone (1) with a plastic body and they will be available in Black, Pink, Yellow, and White.
No price was given for the Nothing Headphone (a), but the switch to plastic, alongside some other possible tradeoffs should translate to a lower price tag than the Headphone (1) which launched for $299 but are currently available for $239 on Amazon.
All of the information above have not been confirmed yet, so it is advised they are taken with a pinch of salt.
