Amazon started its December 2025 free game giveaway with three freebies that are still available to claim. The lineup has now expanded with two more additions: Christmas Adventure: Candy Storm and Forgotten Realms: The Archives - Collection Two.
Among the two, Forgotten Realms: The Archives - Collection Two is a compilation of seven classic PC games from 2022. These are from the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms setting, and they are known to be "Gold Box" style RPGs. These turn-based titles feature real-time combat, and players can transfer the characters between the linked games.
Forgotten Realms: The Archives - Collection Two generally goes for $9.99 when not on sale. On Steam, it has over 200 reviews with 90% of them being positive, making it gain the "Very Positive" rating. Amazon is offering a GOG code for the freebie.
The other free game that has just been added to the December 2025 giveaway lineup is Christmas Adventure: Candy Storm. It's a 2016 hidden-object game that's known for having a humorous Christmas story. There are puzzles and mini-games that are of varying difficulties, and the gameplay is mostly point-and-click.
Christmas Adventure: Candy Storm generally costs $1.99 when it's not being discounted, and on Steam, it has around 400 reviews with a 90% positive rating. Amazon is giving away a GOG code for this freebie, and both of these $0 game deals will expire on January 15, 2026.
Now, while this round of freebies might not be that exciting, the platform will offer multiple critically-acclaimed titles as free games near the end of December 2025. A couple of them can even be redeemed on Epic Games Store. Another thing worth noting is that to claim these freebies, an Amazon Prime account is required, and for first-time subscribers, a free one-month trial is available.
