In what seems to have become an annual tradition now, Nothing has announced its Community Edition smartphone for 2025. After several entries following the competition's announcement in March, the Nothing Phone (3a) Community Edition is now official.
The Nothing Phone (3a) Community Edition has a mint green frosted transparent finish reminiscent of 90s tech. The frsoted transparent design has been popular this year too especially in the gaming devices market with products such as the Analogue 3D Funtastic Limited Editions and the 8BitDo 64 Bluetooth Funtastic Limited Editions.
The smartphone has black volume buttons and a magenta power button. There are also a few colored squares and circles on the back of the phone. Nothing also chose accent colors from the phone to the retail box, a first for the brand.
The Nothing Phone (3a) Community Edition will be available in limited quantities, specifically 1000 units. It is already accepting registrations ahead of its availability during a limited time on December 12 on the Nothing website. The Nothing Phone (3a) Community Edition has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and costs £379 in the UK, €379 in Europe, ₹28,999 in India, and ¥59,800 in Japan. Unfortunately, it will not be sold in the US.
If you do not care for this special edition, you can purchase the 12GB RAM version on Amazon.de for €308.
