Motorola has offered a hint that it will be getting into the world of book-style foldables next year. Seemingly, the company's official announcement is on the horizon too.

Motorola is expected to introduce the Edge 70 Ultra soon as a more premium alternative to the Edge 70 and the Edge 60 Pro it (curr. $505 on Amazon). For the time being, the name 'Edge 70 Ultra' has been inferred rather than publicly confirmed by Motorola.

While the wait for official news about its first Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-based smartphone continues, Motorola has started teasing something entirely different. Currently, the company has not shared anything on social media. Instead, Alex Maxham from Android Headlines has published Motorola's corporate holiday gifts, evidence of which we have embedded below.

As the images show, Motorola's gifts focus on a wooden notepad with 'Every fold reveals a possibility'. Not only that, but the holiday gift set includes a note which reads:

We're getting ready to unfold new perspectives at Lenovo Tech World.

All in all, Motorola's teasers appear to be referencing the company's first book-style foldable rather than a new Razr clamshell. With that being said, the Razr 70 series is expected to land in the middle of next year, too. In that sense, the so-called Motorola Fold should rival the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and other current-generation book-style foldables like the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
