Motorola expanded the Edge 70 with a new special edition finish, just over a month after debuting the device globally. Previously, Motorola had offered the Edge 70 in three Pantone-certified colourways, all with a 6 mm thick housing to rival the iPhone Air and Galaxy S25 Edge (curr. $809 on Amazon).
Now, Motorola has added a fourth option called Cloud Dancer, which the company has created in partnership with Pantone to represent the latter's Colour of the Year 2026. According to Motorola, it has designed Cloud Dancer as an 'airy white hue' to blend 'balance and refinement'. In practice, the new version of the Edge 70 is an opportunity for Motorola to celebrate Pantone's latest Colour of the Year while also delivering a Swarovski crystal tie-in.
Fundamentally, the new Edge 70 features the same technical specifications as all other Edge 70 models. Thus, the Cloud Dancer variant leverages a 120 Hz pOLED display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, three 50 MP cameras and a 4,800 mAh battery within a housing weighing just 159 g and measuring 6 mm in thickness. Currently, Motorola plans to offer the new Edge 70 globally in 'select markets'. Pricing and a launch timeline remain unknown for now, though.
