OnePlus is not due to unveil the OnePlus 15R globally until December 17. Nonetheless, a new Geekbench listing has offered an early look at its prospective performance ahead of time. The device, identified with the model number CPH2767, is currently believed to be the global counterpart to the Ace 6T, a smartphone that OnePlus will likely only sell in China.
According to the benchmark entry, the OnePlus 15R runs Android 16 with 12 GB of RAM. If the OnePlus 13R is anything to go by, 12 GB of RAM will be the device's base memory configuration, likely paired with 256 GB of storage. Incidentally, OnePlus has already confirmed a handful of key features like a 165 Hz AMOLED display, IP69K dust and water protection and an in-house G2 Wi-Fi chip to maximise Wi-Fi stability.
Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 helps the OnePlus 15R achieve an average of 2,815 and 9,552 across two single-core and multi-core benchmarks. Ultimately, synthetic numbers are not indicative of real-world performance. However, they show an impressive performance boost from the OnePlus 13R in the same benchmarks, with 27% single-core and 45% multi-core performance boosts. As a result, the OnePlus 15R closes in on the performance of the OnePlus 13 (curr. $899 on Amazon) with a 9% single-core shortfall and a 2% multi-core performance advantage at this stage.
