The global version of the Xiaomi 17 has appeared in several leaks before its impending launch. Likely arriving soon, the global model has already appeared on Geekbench and the NBTC with a few specifications confirmed ahead of time.

A few days ago, what is believed to be the global version of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra turned up on an IMEI database. Now, its smaller sibling has appeared in separate leaks. As the images below show, the device has surfaced not just with its 25113PN0EG model number but also its 'Xiaomi 17' retail name.

Specifically, Xiaomi has certified the Xiaomi 17 for sale with the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) in Thailand. Ultimately, the NBTC only links 25113PN0EG to the Xiaomi 17. However, this global model number has appeared on Geekbench simultaneously. From this listing, we can glean that the global Xiaomi 17 will feature the regular Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, just like its Chinese counterpart. Not only that, but the Xiaomi 17 will start with 12 GB of RAM internationally too.

At this stage, only global versions of the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra have been seen. Therefore, we can reasonably expect Xiaomi to only offer successors to both the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and the smaller Xiaomi 15 (curr. $869) rather than the dual-display-wielding Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max smartphones it sells in China. Unfortunately, global launch dates for the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra remain unknown for now.
