Xiaomi is still yet to offer a global release date for the Redmi Note 15 series after launching three handsets almost four months ago in China. Nonetheless, several global variants have appeared at retailers in the last few weeks. In short, the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus was joined at the start of the month by two 4G variants.
Now, the regular Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G has turned up at Smartmobil in Germany before its international release. From this retailer listing, we can determine a few changes from the Redmi Note 15 Pro sold in China. Like the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G before it (curr. $305 on Amazon), the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G will adopt a smaller battery capacity than its Chinese counterpart.
As the image below shows, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G features a 6,580 mAh battery, as well as a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset and a 6.83-inch CrystalRes-branded AMOLED display inside a housing that measures 163.61 x 78.09 x 7.78 mm and weighs 210 g. Moreover, the device will start with 8 GB of RAM, likely with 256 GB of storage too.
Reportedly, this variant could retail for €399 (~$465), with Smartmobil adding that Black, Glacier Blue and Titanium colour options will be available from launch. Regardless of colour, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G will feature 200 MP primary, 20 MP selfie and 8 MP ultra-wide-angle cameras. Apparently, one can already order the device in Germany too, although it remains to be seen whether Smartmobil will actually ship units at this stage.
