Last week, Realme confirmed initial details about the features of the Realme 16 Pro series, and now the company has revealed the design for the first time in four colors. The mid-range smartphones boast a brand-new look, with both the display and the back subtly curved on the left and right sides.
The square camera module bears a striking resemblance to the camera module on the OnePlus 15, except that Realme has rotated it 90 degrees. The camera module houses three cameras and an LED flash. Rumor has it that the Realme 16 Pro has a 200 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, while the Realme 16 Pro+ is also said to offer a periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. The position of the Realme logo has also been adjusted.
Rumors also indicate a high-resolution 50 MP selfie camera and a massive 7,000 mAh battery that can be charged via USB-C at up to 80 watts. The manufacturer advertises a battery life of over 125 hours of music playback and around 21 hours of social media app usage. Realme guarantees three major Android updates and four years of security patches. At launch, the Realme 16 Pro series will ship with Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16.
The top model in the series is said to feature an ARM processor that is expected to deliver higher performance than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. According to Realme, the mid-range smartphones will be officially unveiled "soon", but the manufacturer has not yet confirmed the exact launch date.
