Oppo just revealed the newest addition to its mid-range Reno smartphone series. The Oppo Reno 15c features a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2,760 × 1,256 (460 ppi), up to 120 Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth, and 1,200 nits of peak brightness. Underneath the display is an optical fingerprint scanner.
The handset packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset built on TSMC's N4P process node and joined by up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X memory and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Powering it all is a 6,500 mAh battery capable of charging at up to 80 W. When it comes to software, the phone is running ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
On the back, there's a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel sensor with an optically stabilized f/1.8 lens, a 50-megapixel 3.5x telephoto sporting an f/2.8 lens with OIS, as well as a 116-degree 8-megapixel ultrawide. The selfie camera has yet another 50-megapixel sensor paired with an f/2.0 lens.
Preorders are already live in China, with the 12/256 GB model going for CNY 2,899 (~$411), while doubling the storage will set buyers back CNY 3,199 (~$454). The Oppo Reno 15c will start shipping on December 19, although it's unclear if and when it will land in other markets.
