Xiaomi launches new HyperOS 3 update globally for Xiaomi 15 Ultra

Xiaomi has been rolling out HyperOS 3 to dozens of devices lately. As we have covered previously, not all of these OS upgrades rely upon Android 16. Instead, Xiaomi has been quietly issuing Android 15-based HyperOS 3 builds too for devices like the Poco F5 Pro (curr. $449.99 on Amazon).

That is not the case for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra though, which is now eligible to receive HyperOS 3 with Android 16 globally. Specifically, Xiaomi is distributing the update as 3.0.5.0.WOAEUXM, which should arrive soon as an over-the-air (OTA) update. Please note that this build is only for Xiaomi 15 Ultra variants that were sold in the EU and the UK. Moreover, HyperOS 3.0.5.0.WOAEUXM is apparently an 8.9 GB download.

As the screenshots below show, the update contains all core HyperOS 3 global features like Xiaomi HyperIsland and improved cross-ecosystem interconnectivity. Seemingly, Xiaomi has distributed HyperOS 3.0.5.0.WOAEUXM to Xiaomi 15 Ultra units that did not receive HyperOS 3.03.WOAEUXM for some reason.
