The Core Ultra 7 365, an 8-core Intel Panther Lake CPU, has leaked on Geekbench, giving us our first look at the potential performance of the chip. Sadly, based on the Geekbench 6.3 single and multi-core results, the Core Ultra 7 365's performance is nothing to write home about.

Intel is set to officially show off the Panther Lake CPU lineup at CES 2026. Fabbed on the cutting-edge Intel 18A process node, the Panther Lake series reportedly ranges from an entry-level Core Ultra 5 322 with six cores to the flagship Core Ultra X9 388H with 16 cores. However, multimedia/everyday laptops from OEMs like Lenovo will mostly be powered by mid-range Panther Lake CPUs that strike a balance between performance and power efficiency.

One such Panther Lake SKU is reportedly the Core Ultra 7 365 with 4x P-cores, 4x LP-E cores, and a 4.8 GHz max boost clock. The Core Ultra 7 365 has now made an appearance on the Geekbench database inside a “Lenovo 4810X90100” machine. The CPU managed to earn a single-core Geekbench 6 score of 2,451 and a multi-core score of 9,714.

Looking at our testing of similarly positioned Intel CPUs, this latest Core Ultra 7 365 sample is around 11% slower than the Core Ultra 7 258V Lunar Lake CPU in single-core and 10% slower in multi-core performance. The Core Ultra 7 365 under discussion seemingly brings Intel 12th-gen-like performance, as CPUs like the Core i7-1270P are in the same performance class.

On the AMD side, the Core Ultra 7 365 is no match for the 8-core Ryzen 7 260, at least per the current Geekbench results. The Intel Panther Lake chip is 8% slower in single-core and 23% slower in multi-core Geekbench benchmarks. This is a rather disappointing display by the Core Ultra 7 365, as the Ryzen 7 260 utilizes the older Zen 4 cores.

That said, the Core Ultra 7 365 was most likely running with pre-release drivers. So, take the seemingly mediocre performance with a grain of salt. Fortunately, Intel Panther Lake laptops are just around the corner. It won’t be long before we can do our full performance testing of the Panther Lake CPUs, including the Core Ultra 7 365.
