It is no secret that Intel and its partners will be unveiling Panther Lake mobile chipsets next month during CES 2026 in Las Vegas. Based on recent leaks, laptops and gaming handhelds powered by Core Ultra 300 chipsets are on the cards. In the meantime, Intel's Gaming X account has fueled speculation that both Nova Lake and the long-rumoured Arc B770 will not be far behind.
For context, the Arc B570 and Arc B580 (curr. $299 on Amazon) are the only Battlemage architecture desktop GPUs that Intel sells to consumers. However, ample evidence already exists that Intel has or is still developing a BMG-G31-based card as a more powerful alternative. Now, the Intel Gaming X account has hinted that the Arc B770 is still coming.
In a now-deleted reply, Intel Gaming indicates that Nova Lake remains on the cards too. Not only that, but the same account hints that performance across Panther Lake, Nova Lake and the Arc B770 'is looking seriously exciting'. Ultimately, we would not recommend reading too much into this for the time being.
With that being said, recent shipping manifests suggest that Intel could soon introduce a circa 300 W card. Referred to as 'N38341-001' in the image below, the string mirrors recent Intel desktop GPU part numbers. Given the comparatively high wattage mentioned, it seems that the Arc B770 is a probable candidate at this stage.
