The current Zenbook Duo OLED impressed us when we reviewed it at the start of 2025 (curr. $1,889 on Amazon). Equipped with Intel's Arrow Lake architecture, the latest Zenbook Duo delivered improved CPU and GPU performance over its Meteor Lake-based predecessor while also achieving significantly longer runtimes too. Now, Asus has started teasing a new 2026 variant before its official debut during CES 2026 on January 6 in Las Vegas.
Currently, Asus has only shared a 22-second clip on social media. Nonetheless, we can already glean multiple changes from its 2025 edition. Off the top, Asus indicates that the Zenbook Duo 2026 features a refined hinge design that it considers offers 'next level durability'. Then at around ten seconds in, the company confirms it has switched to a dual battery configuration; whether that corresponds with an improvement over the 75 Wh capacity in the 2025 edition remains to be seen.
Meanwhile, it looks as though Asus has reduced display bezel thickness from the 2025 variant while redistributing the laptop's port selection as well. Separately, a new keyboard accessory is visible throughout, which appears to contain changes like a larger trackpad and recessed keys. Presumably, Asus will also upgrade the Zenbook Duo to Intel's Panther Lake platform too, which should bring efficiency and performance improvements to its dual display laptop on top of any physical changes.
