Over the holiday season, Asus teased that it would be bringing a new version of the ProArt PX13 to CES 2026 this week in Las Vegas. Replacing last year's Strix Point release (curr. $1,899 on Amazon), it seemed that the new ProArt PX13 would be confined to a GoPro Edition with rugged design cues.
As it turns out, the ProArt GoPro Edition (PX13) is one of three new ProArt PX13 SKUs launching this year. Unfortunately, Asus has not confirmed pricing or availability yet. Instead, the company is using CES 2026 to focus on how the latest ProArt PX13 differs from its predecessor on a technical basis.
Arguably, the biggest change this year is the introduction of AMD Ryzen AI Max 385 and Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processors from AMD's Strix Halo series. Paired with 32 GB, 64 GB or 128 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, these processors should deliver significantly more CPU and GPU performance than the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 found in Asus' 2025 editions.
Nonetheless, the ProArt PX13's weight remains unchanged at 1.38 kg. Moreover, Asus continues to install a 73 Wh battery but with support for 130 W USB Type-C charging. The 13.3-inch and 2.8K OLED display returns as well, although this remains capped at 60 Hz and 400 nits. Meanwhile, the GoPro Edition leverages a more rugged-looking exterior with a keyboard shortcut for opening a pre-installed GoPro Player app mated to 12 months of GoPro's Premium Plus subscription.
