The 2025 edition of the Zenbook Duo impressed us when we reviewed it last year (curr. $1,692 on Amazon), thanks to numerous advancements over its 2024 predecessor. Now, the company has lifted the lid on a 2026 successor after previewing it almost a month ago.
In short, the Zenbook Duo (2026) promises to surpass its predecessor on performance and battery life thanks to the adoption of Intel's Panther Lake platform. Combined with 32 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage, Asus has outlined that the Zenbook Duo (2026) will be available with up to an undisclosed Core X9 processor, likely the Core Ultra X9 388H.
Moreover, Asus' new twin battery layout has allowed it to equip this year's Zenbook Duo with a 99 Wh combined capacity. Nonetheless, the Zenbook Duo (2026) weighs just 1.65 kg with a 5% smaller footprint than its predecessor. Also, both 14-inch OLED displays deliver 2.8K resolutions with 144 Hz refresh rates and up to 1,000 nits peak brightness while maintaining 100% DCI-P3 colour space coverage.
Additionally, Asus has included one Thunderbolt 4 port on each side, among other ports. Six speakers are onboard too, with two front-firing stereo speakers. Asus has not confirmed pricing or availability yet. However, it has teased that the Zenbook Duo (2026) will reach some countries before the end of the month.
