OneXPlayer has been teasing the Super X for quite a while now, and the recent teasers suggest that the Chinese launch will happen soon. When it launches, it will be a direct competitor to the 2025 ROG Flow Z13, and through a new video, the company has highlighted the display advantage of its upcoming AMD Strix Halo gaming tablet.
In the comparison video, the company pitted the 2025 ROG Flow Z13 against the Super X by putting them side by side and playing the same clip on both. Given that Asus's convertible Windows tablet has an IPS screen, it has a comparatively lower contrast and shallower blacks than the OLED panel.
The OLED display of the OneXPlayer Super X also appears to have richer colors, and the company highlights that it has a higher resolution as well. To be specific, it's a 14-inch screen with a resolution of 2880x1800 pixels, while the ROG Flow Z13 comes with a 13.4-inch display with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels.
Previously, the company revealed that there would be two versions of the Super X available. One of them will feature water cooling, which could eventually make the convertible offer better performance than the ROG Flow Z13 2025.
Other confirmed details include a decent port configuration, an 83.5 Wh battery, and HDR support. OneXPlayer has yet to reveal how much the Super X will cost, but it's expected to be around the same range as the Asus ROG Z13 2025 (32 GB curr. $2,169 on Amazon).
