Abxylute has launched a Kickstarter project for the 3D One gaming handheld PC, with a display capable of rendering true 3D images, whether during gaming or movie viewing.
The 3D One utilizes the parallax barrier method to produce true glasses-free 3D images on its 10.95-inch, 2,560 x 1,600, 120 Hz LCD touchscreen, which offers a maximum brightness of 480 nits. When the 3D mode switch is turned on, the 3D One utilizes a 180 Hz AI eye-tracking camera to properly render the 3D effect on its stereoscopic screen.
Approximately 50 Steam game titles will be natively optimized for play in 3D by the end of November, with more titles added over time. With these titles, the 3D One accesses the game engine depth information directly. All other games, videos, and images will be auto-converted in real time by the MagicView 2D-to-3D conversion software.
The tablet PC comes with an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V CPU, 32 GB LPDDR5x RAM, and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 2280 SSD running Windows 11 Home Edition. The system has three power modes, and Performance mode allows the CPU to run at a sustained power level (PL1) of 30 watts and reach a turbo power level (PL2) of 50 watts.
It has a weight of 0.87 kg (1.92 lbs.), which is similar to a Surface Pro 10 at 0.885 kg (1.95 lbs.). The full-sized game controllers with Hall Effect joysticks add an additional 0.24 kg (0.53 lbs.) when attached. Like the Surface Pro, an optional keyboard and stand can be purchased, allowing the 3D One to be used as a 2-in-1 laptop.
The 3D One has an MSRP of $1,799 but can be purchased for as low as $1,449. The best pricing is available to VIP members who place a $150 deposit that can be redeemed for a $200 credit, for a net savings of $50 off the Early Bird price of $1,499. VIP buyers also receive a free Abxylute C6 wireless game controller.
Only 80 units of the 3D One will ship in December immediately after the campaign ends, while all others will need to wait until February 2026.
