Less than a week after launching on Kickstarter, the Abxylute M4 Snap-On mobile controller has received over $100,000 in pledges despite having a goal of just $1,285. While Abxylute is delighted at the reception, backers are equally excited as the controller will now be available in an additional color.
Previously, Abxylute revealed that the M4 Snap-On mobile controller will get two additional colors in addition to the three announced earlier. However, the new colors — NGC Indigo and Atomic Purple — will only be available if the pledged amount crosses $100,000 and $200,000 respectively. Now that the crowdfunded amount has crossed $100,000, Abxylute has unlocked the NGC Indigo color option.
Abxylute has stated that backers have the option to modify their order(s) to the new NGC Indigo color if they wish. The same should apply to the Atomic Purple variant when it is unlocked, too.
As of the time of writing, the Abxylute M4 Kickstarter page has received over $134,000, leaving less than $70,000 for it to reach the $200,000 milestone for the Atomic Purple color option to be unlocked.
There's still over 30 days to go before the campaign ends, so there's a high chance that the target will not only be met, but surpassed. Abxylute says the design and renders of the Atomic Purple color option have already been completed, but production won't start until there's a reasonable volume for the factory to produce.
