One of the unique features of GameSir controllers is that they have removable faceplates, thus allowing users to change the look of their controller by purchasing a new magnetic faceplate instead of a new controller. Although this feature isn't available for its budget controllers such as the Nova 2 Lite, GameSir higher priced models such as the GameSir G7 Pro and the GameSir Super Nova are supported.
GameSir sells nine faceplates for the Super Nova game controller (curr. available on Amazon for $47.49). Priced at $9.99 per piece, the colors include Mystic Green, Plum Rose, Elite White, Light Green, and Vibrant Orange. Now, GameSir has announced three limited edition faceplates that are made by artists.
Two of the limited edition faceplates — Liquid Galaxy and Pink Anomaly — are made by Shehzan Qureshi, a self-taught artist and YouTuber, while the third, which is called Viridian Kraken, is made by Italy-based artist, Dr. Hack. Unlike the standard versions which cost $9.99, these limited edition faceplates are a bit more expensive at $14.99. GameSir is also offering 30 (10 per design) artist-signed editions of the faceplates, but doesn't say if they have the same price tag as the ones that are not signed.
The Liquid Galaxy faceplate has a dreamy design and swirling colors while the Pink Anomaly faceplate is said to be inspired by raw energy and movement. The Viridian Kraken faceplate is inspired by marine creatures and features the tentacles of a Kraken.
All three faceplates are available to purchase directly from GameSir.
