The Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro 44 mm smartwatch has been released in a new colorway: Onyx Black. Currently only available in China, this third option joins the existing Arctic Gold and Black Gold versions of the wearable, which were officially released a couple of weeks ago.
Amazfit’s latest T-Rex 3 Pro 44 mm smartwatch has a more subtle color scheme than the existing models. As their names suggest, the Arctic Gold and Black Gold watches both have a bold, gold-tone bezel, buttons and clasp. The Onyx Black version has a metallic black bezel and other hardware elements, almost blending in with the black silicone strap.
Features of the T-Rex 3 Pro include route planning, support for offline maps and a six-satellite positioning system. Hardware upgrades compared to the older T-Rex 3 include a dual color flashlight, and the inclusion of both a speaker and microphone enables users to make Bluetooth calls from the watch. There are over 180 activity modes, and health tools like heart rate, skin temperature and sleep quality monitoring. The watch should run for around 19 days on a single charge with typical use, and it features a 1.32-inch AMOLED display.
In China, the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro 44 mm Onyx Black smartwatch has the same RRP as the Arctic Gold and Black Gold versions of the wearable. It is unclear when this new colorway will be released in other markets like the US, where the existing colors are available for $399.99 at retailers like Amazon.
