Garmin has quietly announced a new Feature Update for several of its recent releases. To recap, the company has been issuing various stable updates for several smartwatch series lately, including the Forerunner 570 and Forerunner 970 (curr. $749 on Amazon) mentioned in its Feature Update announcement.
Following on from one that landed over the summer, the November 2025 Feature Update focuses on around half a dozen new features, including Health Status and Real-Time Weather Updates. Incidentally, the company has confirmed plans to introduce 3D mapping functionality too, full details of which we have covered separately.
As for the rest of Garmin's latest Feature Update, many are consigned to its cycling computer series like Smart Fueling and Gear Ratio analysis. With that being said, Garmin is also offering enhanced notification control across the Fenix 8, Forerunner 970, Venu 4 and Venu X1, among other associated smartwatches. Moreover, Garmin has added Rally 110 and Rally 210 support for numerous wearables too, with the November 2025 Feature Update as the image above shows.
Garmin claims to be issuing its November 2025 Feature Update gradually. Hence, it may take a few more weeks before corresponding software updates land on eligible cycling computers and smartwatches. Unfortunately, Garmin has not confirmed the build numbers of the relevant software updates yet.
