Deal | 8BitDo knocks up to $60 off several items for Black Friday

For Black Friday, 8BitDo has slashed the prices of several of its products both on its own eShop and partner stores such as Amazon. The discounts cut across game controllers, keyboards, and mice. However, after perusing both sites, we noticed some items are cheaper on one platform than the other.

The 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless is 8BitDo's flagship controller, and arguably its best controller yet. Originally sold for $59.99, the controller is now available for purchase on Amazon for $47.69 in Black, Purple, and White. This price is just 10 cents lower than it was sold for during Amazon's Prime Day sales in July. It is also available for $47.99 on the 8BitDo eShop. However, the 8BitDo shop also has the controller in Green.

The 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless also has a Wuchang: Fallen Feathers edition, which was announced in June. The controller, which originally cost $64.99, has also been discounted for Black Friday and can be purchased for $55.24 on Amazon and on the 8BitDo eShop.

The Honkai: Star Rail edition has also been slashed from $69.99 to $59.49 on Amazon, and unlike the Wuchang edition, this comes with a glitter coaster, a travel case, and a redemption card for in-game items.

The 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Bluetooth is the version of the Ultimate 2 Wireless that is compatible with the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, although, it also works with Windows like the Ultimate 2 Wireless. Since this works with the Switch, it has a Nintendo layout.

When it launched in April, it cost $69.99 (we guess that Nintendo license ain't cheap), but it is now down to $55.99 on Amazon for Black Friday. The 8BitDo store has it for the same price, in addition to having the gorgeous yellow variant that was announced in June.

The 8BitDo Retro R8 Mouse Xbox Edition launched alongside the Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard Xbox Edition a year ago. Sporting a translucent green shell and colored side buttons, the mouse had a $59.99 retail price at launch, but is now down to $36.99 on the 8BitDo shop. Amazon also has it discounted, but at $48.99, you are better off purchasing it from 8BitDo.

After four years, the 8BitDo Pro 3 finally arrived as a successor to the 8BitDo Pro 2. The new controller launched with several new features, such as swappable ABXY buttons, TMR joysticks, trigger mode switches, LR/R4 bumpers, a 2.4GHz wireless dongle, and a charging dock.

All of those upgrades resulted in a high price tag of $69.99, but for Black Friday, buyers can purchase it for $55.99 on Amazon and the 8BitDo eShop. The controller works with Android, Windows, Nintendo Switch/Switch 2, Apple devices, and SteamOS.

8BitDo has a handful of mechanical keyboards, from the 8BitDo Retro 108 Mechanical Keyboard to the 8BitDo Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard to the recently launched 8BitDo Retro 68 Keyboard.

For Black Friday, the Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard is available to buy for $95.99 on Amazon and 8BitDo (original price - $119.99), while the Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard Fami Edition is $75.99 on Amazon (24% off $99.99). You can also save a bit more money on the 8BitDo Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard - Mecha BREAK edition, which cost $119.99 at launch but is down to just $69 on Amazon.

Other items that have been discounted include the 8BitDo Arcade Controller, which is available for $71.99 on the 8BitDo eShop (originally priced at $89.99). The Arcade Controller Xbox edition, which cost $99.99 at launch, is now available for $84.99 on Amazon.

The 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wired Controller can be purchased for $15.15 on Amazon (24% off), while the Black Myth: Wukong Edition is down to $21.99 from $24.99 on Amazon.
