Xiaomi has quietly updated its 2K Monitor A27Qi after introducing a 2025 edition in the spring (curr. $184 on Amazon). To recap, the original 2K Monitor A27Qi reached Europe in April sporting a 27-inch IPS panel that combined a 1440p resolution with a 100 Hz refresh rate. While the 2K Monitor A27Qi retains a 1440p resolution and 6 ms GtG response times, it also surpasses its predecessor in a few areas.
For one, Xiaomi claims that the new monitor is even more colour accurate than the ΔE<2 offered by its predecessor. Specifically, the company advertises the 2K Monitor A27Qi 2026 as delivering ΔE<1, which it considers to be professional-grade colour accuracy. Considering the monitor's 95% DCI-P3 colour space coverage, we suspect that the 2K Monitor A27Qi 2026 achieves this accuracy against the sRGB colour space, of which it is said to provide 100% coverage.
The 2K Monitor A27Qi 2026 peaks at just 300 nits though, meaning that HDR support is out the window. Nonetheless, other improvements include a 33% higher contrast ratio that stands at 1,300:1 and a 25% faster refresh rate to complement a 1440p resolution with 120 Hz visuals. Also, the 2K Monitor A27Qi 2026 contains 75 x 75 mm wall mounts and an adjustable stand, as well as DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 ports. Although Xiaomi has not confirmed pricing yet, the 2K Monitor A27Qi 2026 is set to receive a worldwide release given its listing on the company's global website.
