Philips has updated its Evnia 6000 series with the Evnia 27M2N6501L, a new 27-inch monitor that it has released across Europe and the UK. Built around a Gen 3 QD-OLED panel, the Evnia 27M2N6501L likely shares the same panel technology as many other recent 27-inch OLED gaming monitors, including Samsung's Odyssey OLED G61SD (curr. $529 on Amazon).
As such, the Evnia 27M2N6501L combines a 2,560 x 1,440 pixel native resolution with a 240 Hz refresh rate and 0.3 ms GtG response times. Additionally, Philips' new monitor boasts 400 nits HDR peak brightness (APL 10%) with 98% Adobe RGB colour space coverage and Delta E <2 factory calibration in accordance with the smaller sRGB colour space. Moreover, the Evnia 27M2N6501L contains the following ports:
- 1x 3.5 mm jack
- 1x DisplayPort 1.4
- 2x HDMI 2.1
- 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A (downstream)
- 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-B (upstream)
Unfortunately, Philips has elected against including any USB Type-C ports. Thankfully, the company has included an ergonomic stand that can be adjusted by up to 130 mm in height, while also being pivoted (+-90), swivelled (-/+ 30°) or tilted (-5/20°). Philips has priced the Evnia 27M2N6501L at £399 in the UK and €499 in the Eurozone. Available later this month in the Eurozone and from December in the UK, more details about Philips' latest OLED gaming monitor can be found on the company's website.
