The ViewSonic XG273F-2K-OLED is a new 27-inch 1440p gaming monitor that promises a faster and brighter gaming experience using LG's latest 4th-gen WOLED panel. Also known as "Primary RGB Tandem," it's the same flagship panel found in the Asus ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W, and it brings some real upgrades over the 3rd-gen models, especially in brightness and raw speed, topping out at an eye-popping 720 Hz.
As a result, the ViewSonic XG273F-2K-OLED delivers up to 1,500 nits in HDR and 335 nits in SDR, which should offer not only a more impactful HDR but also a better viewing experience overall in well-lit rooms. Color reproduction is slightly improved as well, with 99.5% coverage of the DCI-P3 gamut. However, ViewSonic only lists HDR10 support for now, and it remains unclear whether the monitor will also support VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 like other Tandem OLED models.
High-end 720 Hz OLED gaming
Like the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W, the biggest highlight of the ViewSonic XG273F-2K-OLED is its refresh rate. It defaults to 540 Hz at 1440p, but it can push up to 720 Hz at 720p, placing it among the fastest gaming monitors. It is certified under VESA ClearMR 21000 and has a 0.02 ms (GTG) response time, so motion clarity should be equally strong. ViewSonic also lists VRR support and several in-game enhancements, such as black boost and night vision.
However, the monitor lacks DisplayPort 2.1, which means DSC is required to achieve its maximum refresh rate. Speaking of which, connectivity includes dual DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 ports. There are no built-in speakers, but ViewSonic includes a headphone jack. The stand supports the usual ergonomic adjustments, including tilt, height, pivot, and swivel.
In terms of availability, the XG273F-2K-OLED is currently listed on the brand's website in China, but ViewSonic has not yet provided global pricing or launch details.
