Inncon has launched the GA27V1M and GA32V1M mini LED gaming monitors with 2,304 dimming zones. Also featuring 160 Hz and 320 Hz dual refresh rates, the new 4K displays promise brilliant contrast, deep blacks, and less blooming without the risk of permanent burn-in.

Innocn is building on its recent 500 Hz OLED launch with two new 4K entrants, the GA27V1M and GA32V1M. The 27- and 32-inch models use mini LED panels with 2,304 local dimming zones and have now debuted in China and Japan, with a wider global rollout likely in the cards.

2,304-zone Mini LED for better contrast and HDR

The GA27V1M and GA32V1M share the same specs, with display size being the only difference at 27 and 32 inches. Both use IPS panels with 2,304-zone mini LED backlighting, which should give them much finer control over local dimming and noticeably better contrast and black levels. They still can't match OLED, but this is about as close as LED displays get and a step up from earlier mini LED monitors like the MSI MPG 274URDFW E16M with 1,152 zones.

They also get pretty bright at up to 1,200 nits, so HDR highlights and colors stand out more against the deeper blacks. Speaking of which, both are certified under the HDR1000 tier and cover 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Other monitors with 2,304 zones include the 27-inch TCL R94 Series (curr: $799.99 at Best Buy), the 32-inch TCL R84 Series (curr: $799 at Best Buy), and the Agon Pro AG327UXM. Innocn’s models go a bit further for gaming, though, with support for up to 320 Hz in 1080p.

4K clarity versus 320 Hz performance

Like the MSI MPG 274URDFW E16M (curr: $499.99 at Amazon), the GA27V1M and GA32V1M feature a native 4K resolution and 160 Hz refresh rate. Dropping the resolution to 1080p pushes that up to 320 Hz, which should suit competitive shooters and racing titles. Innocn also lists a 0.05 ms response time with MPCS, so motion handling should be quite clear when paired with the mini LED backlight.

For connectivity, both monitors offer HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4, plus a USB hub and a USB-C port with 90 W Power Delivery. Both models also come with an ergonomic stand and a white chassis with an RGB ring on the back.

Pricing and availability

The Innocn GA27V1M and GA32V1M are already on sale in Japan for the equivalent of $506.36 and $583.22. In China, they go for 3,499 yuan and 3,999 yuan, where they appear under the GA27V1M Max and GA32V1M Max names. There’s no information yet on a global or US launch.
