AOC has updated its Agon Pro series with a new monitor aided by Mini LED backlights. To recap, the company started offering the Agon 6 Pro AG326UZD in September globally, having showcased the monitor in China a month beforehand. For reference, Agon 6 Pro AG326UZD utilises the same 4K and 240 Hz QD-OLED panel as others like the Samsung Odyssey G81SF (curr. $879 on Amazon).
By contrast, the new Agon Pro AG327UXM leverages a 32-inch IPS panel produced by LG Display that resolves at 4K with a 160 Hz refresh rate. Alternatively, the monitor can increase its refresh rate to 320 Hz by dropping its resolution to 1080p. Regardless of resolution and refresh rate, the Agon Pro AG327UXM delivers 1 ms GtG response times and 97% DCI-P3 colour space coverage.
On top of that, the monitor utilises 2,304 Mini LED backlight zones to produce 600 nits peak brightness in SDR mode and 1,650 nits across small areas with HDR mode, for which it has earned VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification. Separately, the Agon Pro AG327UXM contains three display inputs, a USB hub and an adjustable stand for good measure. Pricing and availability remain unknown for now, although past performance suggests that the Agon Pro AG327UXM will receive a global release soon.
