The monitor has a 27-inch 10-bit Fast IPS panel that supports two resolution and refresh rate combinations. Users can enjoy 4K at 190 Hz for ultra-high resolution and fast refresh rate, or crank the refresh rate up to 380 Hz at Full HD resolution, ideal for competitive gaming.
The AOC U27G4F supports Adaptive-Sync, ensuring the monitor’s refresh rate is in sync with the frame rate coming from the graphics card. It is also VESA DisplayHDR 400-certified, with a peak brightness of 450 nits.
Other specs include a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 178-degree viewing angle, 99% sRGB, and 95% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. There is also a six-axis color adjustment system. It also offers AI dynamic crosshair, sniper zoom assist, a FPS counter, and a visual engine that automatically optimizes brightness and contrast.
Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. However, the new monitor lacks an internal speaker.
The AOC U27G4F also offers eye-safety features, such as low-blue-light support and DC dimming without flicker. It is compatible with 100x100 mm VESA mounting, with a stand that can tilt between -5° and 23°, swivel up to ±30°, pivot rotate up to ±90°, and adjust vertically up to 130 mm.
Other gamer-centric features include Game Color, Shadow Control, Game Tone Adjustment, Picture-by-Picture, and Picture-in-Picture modes.
