AOC has expanded its gaming monitor portfolio with the Agon Gaming Q27G4ZDR. One of two new QD-OLED monitors it has announced today, the Agon Gaming Q27G4ZDR spans 27-inches diagonally while outputting at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and 240 Hz. Additionally, the monitor boasts 0.03 ms GtG response times with Adaptive-Sync and Nvidia G-Sync technologies on hand to minimise image tearing.
Moreover, the Agon Gaming Q27G4ZDR offers 400 nits peak brightness (APL 10%) with 98% AdobeRGB and 99.1% DCI-P3 colour space coverages. On top of that, AOC has included DisplayPort 1.4 and dual HDMI 2.1 ports, as well as a USB 3.2 hub. Consequently, the Agon Gaming Q27G4ZDR supports 1440p and 120 Hz gaming on Xbox Series S|X and PlayStation 5 consoles.
Also, the monitor comes with an ergonomic stand that supports 130 mm height, pivot, swivel and tilt adjustments. Alternatively, AOC has included VESA 100 x 100 mm mounts for using a third-party stand.
In short, the Agon Gaming Q27G4ZDR features the same Gen 3 QD-OLED panel as monitors that have been around for a year at this point, like the Gigabyte MO27Q2 (curr. $699.99 on Amazon). Thankfully, AOC's launch pricing reflects this. Currently, AOC anticipates that the Agon Gaming Q27G4ZDR will be available in mid-November for £399 (~$520).
