Xiaomi has a fairly diverse range of monitors, some of which are readily available. A new variant of the Redmi A27Q is now available, namely as a USB-C variant. Accordingly, image content can be transferred to the monitor via USB-C and it also offers a tangible advantage when used with mini PCs or laptop, as the end device can not only output image signals but also be charged via the monitor. The Redmi A27Q supports a power output of 90 watts, but the mini PC, laptop, or gaming handheld must, of course, support charging via USB-C.
Typical resolution, increased refresh rate
The Redmi A27Q sports an IPS panel with resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, but this is not necessarily a gaming monitor. Full coverage of the sRGB color space is specified, with 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. According to Xiaomi, the monitor has a color deviation of Delta E less than 1 when delivered, but it is not a display specifically designed for editing image content in the printing stage.
Ergonomic features are on board
DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 are on board, while the USB-C port can not only be used for charging and image output, but also for a USB 3.0 hub with two ports. Tilt, rotation and height adjustment are possible, and VESA mounting to another stand or monitor mount is supported.
Price and availability
The Redmi A27Q 2026 with the USB-C port is currently only available in China, where it currently costs the equivalent of around $128. Information on an international launch is still pending.
