Less than a week has passed since Vivo presented the Pad 5e in China. Rivalling the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro (curr. $582 on Amazon) and other mid-range tablets, the Vivo Pad 5e combines a 144 Hz and 12.05-inch display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. Now, the company has introduced the iQOO Pad 5e, which has joined the iQOO 15 and iQOO Watch GT 2 during a launch event in China.
According to Vivo, the iQOO Pad 5e is ideal for gamers. To that end, gaming features heavily in the company's marketing. Emphasised by the photos above and below, the iQOO Pad 5e contains quad-speakers that are said to provide a 3D-like listening experience while gaming on the same 2,800 x 1,968-pixel and 900-nit display as the Vivo Pad 5e.
Likewise, the iQOO Pad 5e retains its sibling's Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, 10,000 mAh battery and peak 16 GB of RAM configuration. Also, iQOO's latest tablet weighs 584 g and is about 6.62 mm thick excluding its camera array, which houses an 8 MP rear-facing sensor and an LED flash array.
The Vivo iQOO Pad 5e starts at CNY 1,999 (~$281) in China with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage in a choice of green, grey and silver finishes. Alternatively, iQOO sells its latest tablet in 8 GB RAM/256 GB storage, 12 GB RAM/256 GB storage and 16 GB RAM/512 GB storage configurations for CNY 2,299 (~$323), CNY 2,599 (~$365) and CNY 2,999 (~$562), respectively. There is no word yet on international availability, though.
