Xiaomi is getting ready to launch a handful of new devices in China, which includes the Redmi K90 lineup. The company has also announced that it will be launching the Watch 6 at the same event, which is set for October 23, 2025, in China. Now, the company has revealed that it will be introducing a new colorway of the Redmi K Pad during the event.
This new colorway is called Golden White, and per the shared photos, it seems that this refreshed variant of the sub $400 tablet will match the Flowing Gold White colorway of the Redmi K90 Pro Max. Apart from the outlooks, however, all the specs will be the same as the color options that were available during the initial launch.
For those interested to learn more, the Redmi K Pad is powered by the Dimensity 9400+, a last-gen flagship SoC. As we noted in our review, it features a bright 8.8-inch display with a 165 Hz refresh rate. The small nature of this sub-flagship tablet makes it very portable, and we were also impressed with its battery life.
In our review, we tagged the limited availability of the Redmi K Pad as one of the downsides (available on TradingShenzhen), but the good part is that it has been rebranded as the Xiaomi Pad Mini. Through this rebrand, the company has made it available to more regions than before. However, it's unclear whether the Golden White colorway will also be available for the rebranded tab.
